They started arriving at 6:00, and by 6:30 my class was ready to go. We started out as strangers and by the end of the evening we not only made new friends, we also put together a lovely quilt block from Eleanor Burns Victory Quilt Book.
What did you miss? So much fun that we can’t begin to express it in words, so these photos will have to do the trick.
Tonight was absolutely wondrous! We laughed, we ate, we planned our next class. I bet you are wondering how to join the fun. It’s very simple, send me a message and come to our next class. They are always the last thursday of the month and we can get you all caught up by next months class. Did I mention that we also had great food? That’s right, snacks and fun and quilting and new friends! Why would you not want to be a part of this Block Party?
We had a blast making the broken sugar bowl block this month. Next month will be even more exciting, we will be making a strip quilt block. Do you know what this means? Wear your pj’s, choose your boa when you enter the door and we will have music to strip by, that’s strip quilt by. If you are interested in becoming a part of our class, please feel free to give a call. 218-393-6262 We currently have 5 classmembers and could take 3 more, I am however willing to start new classes if interest peaks. Day classes are always an option. I am willing to travel as well. If you have a retreat and have interest, let me know. I prefer to have small classes so I can give individual attention to each student. I hope you enjoyed the photos, tomorrow you can look forward to another fun story. Have a great night!
